House Training 101
I suggest you start out right from the beginning. Before you
bring your puppy home you need to have a few things ready. If your puppy is going to be a small, tiny, or teacup I suggest
you have a playpen made for human babies. My Panda has one that has its place in my great room. ( I call it the 'great'
room because its shorter than typing/saying dining room, living room, kitchen.. Its one big room with all 3 combined)
She slept in her play pen every night until she was 5 months
old. She still takes naps in it, she eats both meals , breakfast and supper, in her play pen. When I leave the house she gets
in her play pen. I just tell her 'come on Panda, get in your beddy-bye, and she comes runnin and puts her little paws up on
the side for me to pick her up.
If your puppy is going to be a toy or larger I suggest you
get the Ex-Pen. You can start out in a play pen, but eventually it will be too small. OR , like Satin, they may jump
out of it.
The puppy needs a bed/crate in one corner and a potty pad (link
to washable potty pads on my links page) in another and the food and water in another. As the puppy grows you can let it out
more often and for longer. When you see the puppy 'go' on the pad, praise it and let it know you are very proud of him/her.
A puppy should not have full run of the house until they are nearly grown. Always make sure your puppy is not
far from his piddle pad.
I want my babies to go to loving homes. I
prefer to sell my puppies as pets, not breeders. If you are a person like me, who loves your dogs/pets as tho they
were your kids, if you devote your life to your dog/pets, then I'd be proud for you to have one of my babies!
If your life situation ever changes and you need to give
up the poodle you bought from me, I will take the poodle back at no expense to me. I will either keep it or find it
a new home.
MOMS and DADS are NOT FOR SALE
Health Guarantee
I have taken great care
in raising a healthy, happy poodle puppy. Your puppy has been exposed to the sights and sounds in my home. Raising puppies in my home allows me to keep a watchful eye over their careful daily
development.
Travel, new environments, change in diet and water can cause stress
and affect the puppy. Worms, earmites, hypoglycemia, coccidia, giardia , kennel
cough or patella are not considered warranted conditions. Accidents, trauma,
injury or mishandling are not covered in this contract. Teacups are NOT covered
at all.
Your Puppy has had appropriate
worming and vaccinations . When you receive your puppy, please take it to your veterinarian within 72 hours to have it checked out and to continue it on its vaccination
schedule. In the event your veterinarian should find a serious health issue
with your puppy, bring the puppy and a letter from him stating the problem and I will replace it with a puppy of equal value
when one becomes available. If within the first year of the puppy’s
life, your puppy is found to have a congenital defect(heart, liver, kidneys), you may also return the puppy to me with a letter
from the veterinarian and I will replace the puppy when one becomes available. Returning
the Puppy is the buyers expense.
In the event that your
life situation changes, for any reason, at any time in the puppy’s life, I would be happy to take the poodle back into
my home, at NO cost to myself, for keeping or placing in a good home.
As the puppy grows thru
the years please send me pictures and updates as I would love to see how this puppy grows up in life.
This Promise Letter was
created for the protection of the buyer as well as the seller. I do not and cannot
guarantee size, color, or fertility, including heat cycles or development of testicles, or disposition of this puppy. Nor will I be responsible for any future expenses against this puppy after you take
possession. This puppy is being sold as a Beautiful Pet Only and should be neutered/spayed
at the buyers expense.
Sincerely,
Pamela Knust
