Infantry Graduation

March 8, 2002

I stayed in Atlanta at April's house. We drove the 2 hour drive to Ft. Benning each day. On Friday, graduation day, we had to leave the house at 6am to get to base in time to get a good seat. Joel told us where his place was in formation so we could sit accordingly. April picked out our spot and it was perfect!

End of Day

It was a wonderful 2 days. We were tired and hated to leave, my bunch had to head out. Joel was free til 10 pm, so he stayed with his dad. I had to go back home to Texas Saturday morning. We are all very proud of our Soldier!! He has proven to himself that he has worth. He is one of America's Treasures!
